I'm Rahul Chitturi, a Full Stack Developer with over 6 years of experience building scalable applications in Cloud Computing and Clinical domains. Currently serving as Member of Technical Staff – 4 at Nutanix Technologies.
I have strong hands-on expertise in Java/Spring Boot microservices, modern frontend frameworks, cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. My experience spans the full stack – from designing distributed systems and REST/gRPC APIs to building responsive React frontends.
Recently, I've been actively exploring practical applications of AI/LLMs, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, vector search, and prompt engineering to enhance existing products. I'm comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

In-App Notification Service
Designed and developed a real-time in-app notification system for Nutanix products. Built backend services to handle event-driven notifications, user preferences, and delivery channels, significantly improving user engagement and platform communication.
Nutanix Sizer
Core contributor to Nutanix Sizer – an intelligent capacity planning tool that analyzes customer environments and generates optimized HCI/cloud infrastructure recommendations. Worked extensively on microservices, data pipelines, backend APIs, and UI integrations.
ClinACT – Analytics & Risk-Based Monitoring
Developed a comprehensive analytics and risk-based monitoring platform for clinical trials. Helped improve trial safety, data quality, and decision-making by identifying site-level inefficiencies and unifying data from multiple sources into a single view.
Business Intelligence Tool
Designed and built a user-friendly web interface that allowed users to create data visualizations by combining SQL and NoSQL data sources, with seamless export capabilities to Excel and other external tools for further analysis and reporting.
